  • 2019 Prayer Emphasis Week at Shiloh Church
  • Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. – Ephesians 6:18

January 13-20, 2019 is Prayer Emphasis Week at the Shiloh Church in Jacksonville, where I serve as pastor. As a congregation, we start the year seeking God’s guidance, power, and blessings on our lives and ministry work together.

We believe it happens after prayer! There are a lot of things you can do to help the situation, after you have prayed about it. But there really is nothing you can do to help the situation, until you pray about it. When we work, we work. When we pray, God works!

    It Happens After Prayer!

The theme for Prayer Emphasis Week this year is on the power of praying together. During our Lord’s Day worship services this past Sunday (1/13), we spent an extended time in prayer. It is our plan to do the same this coming Sunday, God willing.

Throughout the week, we have special times of prayer, which include the following:

    • Morning Prayer Calls each morning (Monday thru Friday) at 6 AM EST. During these calls (approximately 15 minutes, we meditate on a passage of scripture and pray together. Join us at 1-800-220-9875 (Passcode: 11182939)
    • Midday Prayer Meetings on both of our campuses for one hour, starting at twelve noon (Tuesday in Orange Park; Wednesday Downtown).
    • All-Church Prayer Meetings during our Midweek Worship Service times at 7 PM (Tuesday in Orange Park; Wednesday Downtown).
    • All-Night Prayer Meeting Friday night at our Downtown campus. We will sing, pray, read, testify, and fellowship together from 10 PM to 6 AM. Designated times for specific prayer targets will be set. And I will give the “Midnight Special” message.

Shiloh Church members, please join us as we seek God and wait on God together in believing prayer this week. For our Christian friends reading this, please remember the Shiloh Church in your prayers this week. And feel free to join us for any of these prayer meetings, if you do not have conflicting responsibilities at your own local church.
