    1. Follow the Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly (1 Tim. 4:1; Ezra 7:10).
    2. Pray.
    3. Read widely.
    4. Practice faithful Bible exposition.
    5. Write yourself clear.
    6. Study preaching.
    7. Take breaks from preaching.
