Thanks for reading my blog. Here are my Saturday Shout-Outs for this week.

Sat Shout Out_bubble_black

A big shout-out to the Shiloh Church staff and volunteers for serving our children this week during the 2014 Vacation Bible School. You make it happen!

Shout-out to Pastor Terrance Floyd and the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Wichita, KA. It was a blast to have the opportunity to preach to you again. This congregation is twelve years old. And I have had the joy of preaching to them ten of those years.

Two nights of the meeting, a local pastor named Kent brought young men from his church to hear me. He knew of me through links on Tim Challies’ site. Thanks Kent for your prayers and encouragement.

Hope to see you at the SBTS Expositors Summit – October 29-31, 2014.

There will also be a pre-conference: “Tell Your Story”: Expositional Preaching in the African-American Church

CIS-Conf-logo-20142The Cutting It Straight Expository Preaching Conference is a little more than two months away. It will be held September 24-26, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. This three-day event will teach, model, and promote expository preaching and teaching. It is designed for pastors, associate ministers, and Sunday School teachers. All are welcome. Register today. And bring a friend.
