This Friday – December 18, 2015 – the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church Choir will record a live worship CD. It will be Shiloh’s first music project.

We believe the word of God and the worship of God should always go together (John 4:23-24). As we go deeper in biblical truth, we should go higher in grateful praise. This music project reflects our prayerful desire to be a church where the light of Christian truth shines and the fire a Christian joy burns.

This worship project is produced and directed by our Pastor of Worship & Arts – Joe Pace. Joe Pace is a Stellar Award winning artist and twenty-year Gospel Music veteran. His early projects were recorded with the Colorado Mass Choir. He has also produced several “Joe Pace Presents…” music projects, along with extensive work with other artists. Joe Pace has served the Shiloh Church for more than two years now. He has been and is a great blessing to body-life of Shiloh Church. And we are grateful, honored, and excited to have him at the helm of this CD recording.

Much of the music we record will consist of pieces that are already a part of the worship life of our church. We will also introduce several new pieces of music. The projected song list includes….

• Joe Pace has written several new pieces that the Shiloh Church has the honor to record: Give You Everything, Come Let Us Worship, and I’ve Been Changed (Josiah Martin is scheduled to lead I’ve Been Changed.).
• The Joe Pace Medley, celebrating 20 years of inspiring Gospel Music written and produced by Joe Pace.
• We will record two new arrangements of traditional hymns: Blessed Assurance and It Is Well.
• He Reigns, written and led by our Worship Leader and Associate Director of Music, Kevin “KJ” Willis, Jr.
• Dave Ward will lead a beautiful song he has written entitled, Declaration of Praise.
• We will record several songs that are a regular part of our corporate worship: You Are My Strength, 10,000 Reasons, and Lord, Keep Me Day By Day.
• I have written two songs that we will record, It Happens After Prayer and Let God Lead You. Kathy Taylor is schedule to lead Let God Lead You.

The recording will take place Friday night at our Downtown campus. Doors open at 6:00 PM. The recording begins at 7:00 PM. This is a free concert. If you are in the Jacksonville area, we invite you to join us for this special night of musical praise. And invite a friend to join you! It will be a joy to have you as our special guests.

Our goal is the have this recording ready for national release May 2016.

Please pray for Joe Pace, our entire music team, the recording Friday night, and the subsequent project release. Pray the Lord will give our team physical strength, spiritual energy, and sincere hearts for Friday’s recording! Pray that this project will spread the love, hope, and grace of Christ far and wide! Pray this musical project will exalt the glory of the high name of the God our Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
